Tuesday morning who do I see skipping by the shop, the lovely one and only
Anne of Green Gables !!!

I asked if I could take a few pictures of her in the shop for a post and she was thrilled to do so...

I actually have a pair of the old knickers in the shop for sale...
Not to mention all of the other vintage linens that are there waiting for the perfect home...

Wow, wish I was that photogenic ...
She also has an amazing personality...
This location is amazing 3 - 4 times a day we have horse & buggy tours...

Having some fun...
If you plan on visiting our beautiful Island this summer make sure to take in the
"Anne Of Green Gables" play...
I took Mary Claire last summer and we enjoyed ourselves immensely...

Love this door I have been looking for one for quite some time now, and was "THRILLED" when I found this beauty...

Bonus it was perfect just the way I found her... 

The door added just the right amount of personality to the room...

It's amazing how one small extra detail can add just the right mood to our living space...
I love it !!!

Awaiting Summer !!!

Hi my blogging friends...
I've been away for a short while,
enjoying my time at the shop...
"TIMEWORN TREASURES & ANTIQUES"
Business has been great considering I've been open only a little more then a week...  

It was a beautiful day on our lovely Island...
We had a cruise ship in, so I was busy meeting new people, and welcoming  them to our Island...
Our Island will be visited by 60 or so cruise ships this summer and into the fall...

Making these signs are fun, I like to see how old recycled wood can be restored...
Recycle, Restore, Renew...
That's what this picture is all about...
Not to mention it's all up for sale...
Keeping the price right to sell !!!

"PRAY OFTEN"
Praying often has gotten me through this whole process...
Without Him I can do nothing!!!

A little unique milk glass hat...

Love creating vignettes outdoors, especially when the weather is
fine, fine, fine...
And I must say that vintage scale is a fine piece as well...
Surprised it hasn't sold within the first week...
They are hard to come by...

What a great shade of blue, and the original  paint color too !!!
Can't get enough of chippy chippy paint ...

Getting creative by adding hooks...

Timeworn Treasures ~

An opening ~
 WOW our God is so good!!! He has stood time still for me during this process...There were days I'm sure when I got 40hrs of work done in one single day...This is what I mean when I say God has stood  time still for me...Thank-You Lord for your help & I thank all of you as well for your prayers & support...

Day 5 in business and this little room is soon needing a facelift...

It's amazing how the days fly by when your having fun...

Word of mouth goes a looooooong way on our little Island & I want to take this time to thank everyone who has shared my blog on their facebook, and  those of you that tweeted about the shop...

Two minds is much better then one, especially when you have one up in the heavenlys...

Things are looking not so the same now, as items sell I try to stay on top of the staging...
This is just not work for me...
