No touch-ups required... She came perfect with the pedestal included... |
"For me, prayer is a surge of the heart; it is a simple look turned toward heaven; it is a cry of recognition and of love, embracing both trial and joy." -St.Theresa |
"Let us go forward in peace, our eyes upon heaven, the only one goal of our labors." -St Theresa |
Before her death, St.Theresa said, "I want to spend my heaven doing good on earth, it will be like a shower of roses... And you will find many consolations." |
I love your statue of St. Teresa. It is just beautiful - Congratulations on winning this

ReplyDeleteYou were right !!!!!I am crying tears of Joy !!! She is so beautiful and so happy that she has found your home !!! St-Therese has been my favorite Saint as long as i can remember !!Thank you so much for blogging ...it is so heavenly!!! Love and miss you !!!
ReplyDeleteI love this statue... I have this same one cast in a very heavy stone in my front yard. Her nose is a little chipped and I bought her on discount...but I love her all the same! She came home with me that day!
ReplyDeleteBTW, did you know you have word verification turned on. Some people don't know. I didn't know until someone told me and then I turned it off...it makes it harder to get comments at linky parties.
ReplyDeleteOh Lori,
ReplyDeleteShe is absolutely beautiful!! I have always wanted a statue like yours. And it looks so wonderful in front of the mirror!!~
Hope you have a lovely night.
Sincerely,
Melinda

Hi Lori,
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love St. Theresa and I am so very happy for you to receive the statue of her. She is so beautiful in your lovely home. I never saw your blog until this evening and I love it very much.
Funny thing, right before I came to your site I read an email from someone who sent me a St. Theresa prayer...amazing things when you have faith.
Blessings be yours,
Anna
This is beautiful, guess I have never seen one this big in someones home, looks great!
ReplyDeleteOh, Lori - your posts speak to my soul!! I love St. Theresa. This is the most amazing statue ever. It's beautiful positioned in front of the mirror. I also love all the white in your home.
ReplyDeleteIt's so funny because in two of my last three posts, my itsy bitsy St. Theresa's are showing - the mid century St. Theresa thermometer from a fuel company that hangs over my desk, and the small St. Theresa planter that sits on the jelly cupboard in my dining room.
Thank you so much for sharing the prayers/blessings/quotations as well - a wonderful post!... Donna
She is beautiful, Lori, and looks happily at home where she is. The prayers are wonderful, too.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing.
What a beautiful statue of St.Theresa. She's so perfect in your room. Thank you for sharing.
